Hobson 7.0 Solocraft. "Henry #1"
“Henry no. 1” – Solocraft (7m) was the first monohull Solocraft ever built by Henry Hobson of Wynyard in Tasmania. The Hobson craft is known and respected by professionals as rugged go anywhere, anytime (almost) workhorses. The original registered layup plans and Henry's notes about this vessel are available.
Powered by a great 225 Saltwater Series Yamaha two-stroke outboard. The helm and forward cockpit can be fully enclosed with canvas Bimini and back covers and clear curtains. There is a cuddy cabin for overnighting and or storage. With a big aft deck, this boat is ideal for fishing or diving. The galvanized tandem trailer (reg. PT 436) is included.
Not currently in survey. Vessel stability test has been approved by AMSA. The current owner advises that a 3C fishing survey may be possible.
