“Janet Ann” is a highly respected Lacco (designed/built). A robust, ocean capable fishing vessel. A recreational vessel from launch, she has never worked and has been exceptionally well maintained. The aft wheelhouse is well equipped and comfortably organised for the skipper and crew. The forward open plan accommodation (with diesel heater) includes four berths, galley and dinette. “Janet Ann” is built of Celery Top Pine with Stringy Bark keel. The cappings, bollards and cleats are all Iron Bark. A truly magnificent vessel and a credit to her owners.

|Engine||120 hp Dong Feng diesel. These low revving naturally aspirated engines are noted for their rugged reliability. This engine has been meticulously maintained. Re-built in 2005 by Ken Meyer in Maryborough, Qld. These engines were originally a German design (Maybach) purchased by the Chinese after WWII and adapted to various uses (generators, pumps, automobile, farm and marine uses). Most ferries in Hong Kong harbour use Dong Feng engines. Dong Feng is a huge builder of trucks and cars today. Parts are readily available. Spare belts and consumables are on board. The Spare Parts manual and two boxes of spares will be made available to the Purchaser. Propeller 29" x 3 blade plus a spare propeller with spanner ( not on board).
