Salar 40 Centre-cockpit "Marie Louise IV"
Designed by Laurent Giles, the timeless Salar 40 is one of the all-time great bluewater cruising yachts in its class. “ Marie Louise IV” was heavily constructed to commercial spec's and presents in very good condition. With high prow and topsides, these sea-kindly yachts are remarkably efficient under sail. The 70 hp Volvo has what it takes to drive this robust vessel through the slop. The centre cockpit is fully protected by a hard 'doghouse' style wheelhouse with a curtain aft. The helm station is comprehensively equipped and cushioned seats on each side ensure crew comfort when on watch. Aft of the cockpit is the owner's cabin with an en-suite. Forward the saloon is light and spacious with good headroom, a large dinette to port with galley opposite. Forward is another bathroom and a private forward cabin. “Marie Louise” is set up to be sailed short-handed with in-boom furling main and furling headsail. Sails can be trimmed from the cockpit. “Marie Louise IV” is ready for you to step aboard and go cruising. CALL PAUL 0418 385 866 to arrange an INSPECTION.
